We were proud to present the AHEAD Project at this year’s European Society of Criminology Eurocrim 2025 Conference!
At #Eurocrim, AHEAD researcher Jasmine Madjlessi presented the project’s aims and methods, and shared the results of our fourth foresight cycle on critical infrastructure, focusing on healthcare infrastructure security.
The poster included:
🔹 Trends identified through an in-depth expert survey
🔹 Scenarios built via thematic analysis of the survey results
🔹 A backcasting workshop with decision makers and administrators, which together with the expert survey produced extensive policy recommendations.
The poster highlighted emerging risks ranging from climate change and cyberattacks to hybrid warfare and disinformation campaigns, and offered forward-looking recommendations to strengthen resilience in healthcare infrastructure.
We were glad to exchange ideas with researchers and practitioners at Eurocrim, and we look forward to continuing the conversation on how foresight can help build a safer, more resilient Europe.
