AHEAD launched its second foresight cycle on Border Management last month. End of April 2024, Work Package leaders and Europol representative and a Europol representative gathered in Helsinki at the Finnish Ministry of the Interiori to explore the future of Border Management and cross-border criminal activities.
The workshop focused on refining nine pre-developed scenarios into three comprehensive and forward-looking ones. These scenarios explore a range of potential challenges and opportunities related to the evolving landscape of border management.
This collaborative served as the foundation for expert workshops with STEEPL (Social, Technological, Economic, Environmental, Political, Legal) experts and Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs).
